THe problem with these rainbow palowensis and daneas, they need to be shaded. Just a handfull rather higher lighting, i know oakleys was sitting halfway up under radions with some acros so i placed mine in highflow with 300par

also lost that tgc unknown acro to rtn today. Only changes i made was adding a few new bulbs, beefed up my flow, calibrated, cleaned my dos and container + changed out the tubing. Cleaned all my plumbing out with a wire brush(nasty stuff). Have had a .1 lower ph daily since i added the new bulbs and cleaned my skimmer out. Still trying to figure out why, its not a big deal at all, but im lost with trying to understand. Maybe corals arent photosynthesizing "correctly", thus not making enuff o2 because of the new bulbs, maybe, theyre still polyp out growing. Cleaned out alot if surface area, so maybe high levels of bacteria are present thus lowering the ph? Not sure. Well see, untill it goes back to how its ben ill change out more bulbs. Also had a 1 dkh or 15ppm swing in alk last saturday, the day i changed the bulbs. Lol usually when i change my bulbs its the complete opposite, maybe thats what caused rtn. But ill tell you, for that to happen somthing fast was not right.

Got the zen reef rack. Was going to get a couple customs from them but figured id just get their regular narrow rack for now. There work is top notch, only 55$ shipped for this. My other racks are junkie bent acrylic with fisherprice magnets and cost 30 bucks.
