Safe and Easy DIY way to remove Nems

This is gonna be my last resort… had tried blasting with power heads… no success… Ice no success…

Just wondering… what is the max duration to implement this method to call it quit before any harm done to the Nem?

Could somebody chime in on this?
3 days, maybe longer.

So far… this is the best I can come up with…
This waiting game really is testing my patience … hoping for the best… wish me luck

Oh man, that's really in a rough spot. I poke them a little bit to get them to retract and then put the sponge/pipe over them, yes.

Indeed it is hahaha… I tried to cover up small holes that I suspect could leak in lights with pieces of sponges to make sure no lights coming through…

also added a 45 degree at the top so that light dont get in straight… hoping for the best …

Thanks for the reply bro …

you want the light coming in from the top of pipe

you want the light coming in from the top of pipe
roger that … had to add a 45 elbow at the top to prevent lights going straight down…

want it to be ‘Light at the end of the tunnel’ type of theory right?

My only concern now is… how long can the nem survive in this situation?

I'd give it a week ,then check if nem moved or is degrading, still good,do it again.

Yeayyy… 100% success even though its foot was still sticking inside the whole but it was loose… went to checked on the pipes and open up the 45 elbow… and boom saw its Bubble tips …the body did stretched around 15-20cm from its foot… but did manage to take it without any harm done …

thanks to OP for this superb technique … and thanks to those who chimed in on my questions …

P/S : had to cage her for tonight… will slowly light acclimate her from tomorrow onwards…

Sometimes they leave babies behind as well. I was removing 4 and ended up with 9... Kept 5, gave 1, traded 3 to LFS for lots of pods and Phyto.

Wow lucky you… Haven’t seen an anemone split yet… hoping to be able to see one happening infront of my eye one day…
