That's very interesting info on BW.so far I'm not sold on it considering the price tag.
IO and RC are good salts. I just know in the past I had to supplement my water before I did a water change. For me, I can just mix up a batch of salt water and not have to add any additives before the water change.(with brightwells)

Just switched from Reef Crystals to Tropic Marin Pro Reef. I will say the TM pro mixed faster, we will see how my tanks react to it. I also am running Warner Marine EcoBak fwiw.

I use IO, ive used reef crystals and tropic marin (regular). RC is not consistent, and TM is too expensive but I love their buckets. IO seems to be the best bang for the buck IMO

IO... wanting to see if anyone had tried ESV's salt?

I've been using the ESV 4 part salt for..........5 months give or take, and to people who haven't seen my tank in a few weeks they always seem surprised with the improved coloration and polyps extension. Of course I stare at it all day long and can't tell? They swear its the salt. I particularly love how quickly and efficiently it mixes. Can be used with in minutes with ZERO ill side effects, no residue at the bottom of my barrels and smells nice and clean!

I have been using IO, but bought a bucket of Seachem yesterday. I am going to try it and will publish the difference if any.

I used Instant Ocean for a long time just the regular salt not the crystals. I just switched a few weeks ago to Tropic Marine Reef Pro. A little more expensive, but I figured just like anything else in this hobby you get what you pay for. Plus it came HIGHLY reccommended and they have been around just as long as IO (30+ years). So far things look great, after two water changes things have opened up more and look good. The only thing I've noticed is the PH drops the first few days then starts to climb, this might be because something I'm doing. I've been adding B-Ionic the day after because the PH starts to get to low. But when I mix it the PH is dead on, it's all trail and error. But I do not need to dose as much as I did with Instant Ocean ;)

does anyone know of a site or thread that has all the different salts mixed and their base parameters?

I started using Red Sea Coral Pro because the chemistry is right where I wanted it. I just dose my tank in between water changes to match the salt. Makes life much easier.
