Saltwater storage containers

Cool! Thank you, I really do want to learn and get better. My husband should be better at this stuff too, so he will probably help. He's handy and all that good stuff. I will watch that video and see what I can find and then try and plan for my future needs.

Like I said earlier I just did mine. I sat down with a pen and paper wrote what I wanted to do with it and made sketch. That worked for me. Just figure out how you want to move water from one container to the other and to the tank. I kept in mind a few things. How I wanted to do top offs for me I'm doing them by bucket so I have a valve to fill buckets. Union placement for easy disconnect is important as stated before just get a plan down and u will be fine

Keep your wiring off the floor so if there is a leak it doesn't get wet. Also, use a GFCI if you aren't.

Gabriel...not trying to get in your business, so take this for what it's worth. But if you wanted to do away with lugging the buckets (which was my ultimate goal), you could put a T off the output side of your pump at the RODI container. Install a ball valve and hose bib converter on the T and run a hose to your top off container at the tank. Put another ball valve on the end of the hose, turn the pump on, and refill your top off. If you find the flow too low, simply install one more ball valve after the T, between it and the salt bucket. I apologize if I'm overstepping here, but I just cringe when I hear "bucket". You have a nice system there that could easily be adapted. Feel free to ignore this, it won't hurt my feelings!

That's what I do - I have two brute cans next to each other - all connected with one pump that can:
-Move water from RODI to salt.
-Mix salt
-pump Salt and/or RODI to tank to for water change or to top off the ATO reservoir.

Super handy. My only complaint is that I used an old EHEIM 2262 pump and by the time it goes the 20ft to the tank and up the 60 or so inches, it loses a lot of pushing power so water changes take a while longer than I'd like.

No hard feelings. I don't mind filling one bucket every three days to do top offs. I considered what you said but decided against it. For my thirty gallon water changes yes I don't wanna do buckets so that why I'm pumping that to tank. For me a 15 foot walk for a 5 gallon top off is easier than running a hose to the tank.

The key to shipping on the containers is to get shipped to industrial location. I had mine shipped to work and cut the shipping in half. goto tanks has several locations they ship from so just have to call them and see which is best for your area.
