I would take some frags down to my 180 and mount the plana on a tile and put on rack. There's a will, there's a away. I just don't know if I should.

Thanks for the insight. Pulled the trigger on the GHL profilux 4 and maxi EXT.

My biggest use case is the remote monitoring and the awesome doser. Both the probes and doser seem to be best in class hardware. If the ion director ever comes back in stock id love to own that and not have to worry about reagents. I can test alk manually. Hydros seems more "modern" and modular but kasa bars and a jebao doser got me this far as it is haha.

Any colony is worth $200 short of the beginner stuff. If 25% of what your buying could be fragged to pay for the purchase, its a good deal.

My guess is Crayola Plana frags would go for around $20. I think in this situation I would buy it if I wanted a nice size colony to fill space.

Basically BRS is removing everything from its store that it dosnt have monetary ties with. They also are using terms like "Discountinued" on competitors products. Very shady business tactics. GHL and Coralvue already put out official posts about it
