Basically BRS is removing everything from its store that it dosnt have monetary ties with. They also are using terms like "Discountinued" on competitors products. Very shady business tactics. GHL and Coralvue already put out official posts about it

Premium aquatics.....saltwateraquarium.....blah blah. Plenty of other places to buy if brs doesn't have it. It's all in the effort to monopolize as much as they can under the arpeture umbrella. But...in the end..I only use them for what they are for and what I can only get there

I try to trade frags of beginner stuff to the LFS to run my tank. $0 is better than 25% off. Thats who im going to need when something fails.

Thanks for the insight. Pulled the trigger on the GHL profilux 4 and maxi EXT.

My biggest use case is the remote monitoring and the awesome doser. Both the probes and doser seem to be best in class hardware. If the ion director ever comes back in stock id love to own that and not have to worry about reagents. I can test alk manually. Hydros seems more "modern" and modular but kasa bars and a jebao doser got me this far as it is haha.

the IOND is a myth My favorite aspect about GHL is that they are “rack mount”.

I setup my new tank with hydros and really like it. The Maven coming out this year is going to really complete my automation setup

I think the gist is coralvue and ghl parted ways from aperture partnership. Seems the lack of promotion of competitor products/sales below MAP was the root cause.
