SC Aquariums 50 gallon PNP

The little mouth I can see on the side looks fine. Sometimes they get frumpy and don't puff up all the way. I always spot fed my acans on my old tank. It does make a difference. I'd make a thick reef roid paste that could barely get sucked into a pipette and try to give each head a little dose while all the pumps were off. A chunk of reef frenzy works. It just looks agitated like something picked or smacked it and the biggest head deflated to protect itself. I hope the new "thingies" arrive in good shape tomorrow. You better special order a scoly printed purse or handbag soon. Bet one of those is over 3 bigs. At least get her a cell cover from pirates reef if they have any left.

She just got new rims and tires yesterday, so I should be good for just a little while lol.

And dang some of the other heads are showing the same thing now. The only thing I can think is that it starved because I didn't really target feed it. I thought it would get enough food from when I feed the tank but that was probably stupid of me.

Its not dead, just not inflated. Take a bowl of tank water and put some food in it. When its floating around and thawed, gently take the blast out and set it in the bowl. Don't give it too much, as that is bad and it will throw it up. Put it back in the tank after a 1/2 hour.

Tried to put some food in each of it's polyps and no feeding response. It looks like it's tissue on all it's heads are receeding.

Bummer. I can see the skeleton in that last pic. If it's that unhappy, put it in a low flow spot and let it do it's thing till tomorrow night.

Yeah that's how all the heads are starting to look. Someone on Facebook told me it would bounce back but I'd be very surprised.

Corals have arrived. They were acclimated, dipped, and put in the tank.

Small mushroom wasn't attached to anything so it got banged around a little by me. I glued it to a small rock and out it in a Tupperware container. I think it'll be fine though.

Also got a couple of nija star snails.

One out of two pieces of my Xenia slimed off this AM and was pulsing in the sand this morning. I took this as an opportunity to separate it to give some away to @Nanofan12 once it attaches.

Another pic or the scoly just because.

Moved the blasto in the shade in the middle of the tank. Maybe it will recover there. Yellow filter makes the colors looked washed out a bit.

Devil's hand still hasn't fully extended but looks like it wants to today.

I told myself to give it some time. Took a shower and came out to more of the scoly eaten after I clearly layed down the ground rules.

Poor scoly!

He made the choice himself. Back to the LFS he goes!

Cute little guy but he needs to be in a FOWLR! Lol

Well I already have another Fluval flex 15 gallon just sitting in my daughter's room (she doesn't use her room since she sleeps with us lol). I just didn't have any desire to set it up just for the puffer. If anything I may do something with it later but couldn't justify setting it up (in my head) just for this guy.
