SCAM ALERT!!! PLEASE READ

I posted a WTB ad on here and was contacted by @kevin102 , who said he was selling a kh guardian for 1100$ I told him that they cost 600$ new, he then emailed me back and said 380$ and sent a picture of his kh guardian, the problem is I did a reverse image search on the picture he sent saying was HIS kh guardian and the image was originally posted in 2018 on here in a different thread, I will attach pictures of the thread and of the emails, Link to the thread where the picture is originally from, also when I click on the picture that was sent to me it even says “screenshot 2018”

Yeah, pics or no, I'd be highly suspicious of an account created less than a week ago and not particpating at all offering to sell me something.

I receive scam messages every single time I post in the WTB forum.

I had one recently, that was pretty easy to spot as it was word-for-word identical to the previous one

I won’t ever buy from any new member, and always google details (email addresses/photos) before sending any money, which will always be by PayPal.

There are a lot of dubious people out there, although I have also got some amazing bargains from some really genuine sellers.

I'm guessing because they can run the scam out of the public eye. All he had to do was PM you and say he had what you wanted, instead of posting a bogus ad that might raise red flags.

When you can walk into a store, steal up to $5000 in goods and casually walk out without being charged (and even if caught it's no longer a criminal offence) - what do you expect? We've been breeding a generation or more of people with absolutely zero conscience or sense of morality.

Seriously, R2R classifieds should have some post/account age requirements to cut back on classifieds fraud @revhtree they'll show up anywhere they think they can find a sucker
