While ive never been that into scolys, I cant say Ive ever seen one in person. Then I saw it. Sitting in a lonsome corner of my new favorite lfs. The most beutiful thing ever. It has purple, teal, orange, and peach in the center. The owner said he had had it for a while, and would drop the price from $280 to $150, so i jumped on it. I want to share a terrible picture with you and in return, I want to see Your Scoly(s) and want to hear about their favorite foods.

I love finding little corals (well not so little in your case) out of the way. While mine are not so awesome, they're still enjoyable and bring personality to an aquarium. Great find!

Sorry, I don't have one currently, but would certainly love to get one at some point.

I STOLE this....I'd wanted it since the first day I saw it at the LFS, but didn't want to drop $350 on it. Unfortunately for them, but fortunately for me, they allowed it and several other beautiful scolymias to degenerate to states of complete unhealthiness if not death. So, I rescued this little guy for an unbelievable price. It took a little while to completely eradicate the aiptasia which had completely covered the skeleton. But, as it turns out, my mom was right. Patience IS a virtue...

Great job bringing it back. Lfs should've paid you to take it.

Got this from a friend of mine. It was only opening half way. I feed it coral frenzy once a week and keep it in a low flow area of my tank that gets good lighting. I''ve go the scoly fever as well.

That's awesome man. A LFS near me has had their corals go down the tubes recently. This post makes me want to go see if I can do the same!
