Pile your sand up evenly along seam... Looks like light coming through where sand blew away. I had this tank and thought the same thing and then realized it was bright light and lack of sand vs covered in sand. Later when we moved we also dropped the tank from about 3 feet onto the corner on cardboard by mistake and the corner chipped but the seams were fine. Held water for a year before upgrading.
