Seam giving out on 265 gallon

New tank showed up last night.

Got the new vectra L1 plumbed in.

Got the back painted and started filling it.

Scaped it and added new sand. Couldn't see much for a while.

I still need to put my canopy door back on, fix a small drip on my return plumbing, and fix the siphon breaks on the returns (they are noisy). So far everyone is doing good. My anemone did split during the move. I'm guessing it was due to stress.
 
I'm glad you were in a position to scrape up the 2 grand for the replacement tank. Everyone dreads the day their pump or skimmer dies, but its scary how few people consider the real possibility of the tank having a problem!
 
That's what I call a quick and terrific recovery. Congratulations on getting things together so quickly.

If/when (hopefully never) my 14yr old 210 ever opens up on me......I hope it goes just like yours did. Nice,quick recovery. Great job!
