Secret Santa 2019 Gift show off thread

I’m totally going to be collecting all year for my secret Santa next year. It was fun! And I’d love to have a bunch of random goodies to throw in too.

I don’t know how some of y’all have the patience to wait until Christmas to open your gifts.

I’m so eager to see what everyone got. I’m Jewish.... anyone want to start opening the first night of hannukah instead. I tried to wait, but couldn’t.

On a side note, I love seeing how generous people can be. My temple partnered with a school to do a giving tree. Sorting the presents made me tear up so many times - bikes basketball goals, tablets, gift cards for shopping sprees, etc. One girl asked for a Barbie dream house ($200-300 for those of you who don’t know) and her person got it for her AND a big basket filled with nearly a dozen new barbies, clothes, and furniture. Said she needed somethings to decorate and fill up the house. It’s amazing how people will give even when there’s not going to be a returned present.

Well things aren't looking too great. I talked to Amazon today and with the tracking number they confirmed it was indeed delivered and left in the mail room, however, it was not put into the Amazon Hub at my apartment. With how long it's been and still not shown up, it's unfortunately very likely that it was stolen from the mail room here. The guy I spoke with at Amazon said the buyer should call their customer service and they will refund the buyer. I let @Santa Claus and @Hermey know so they can pass the message along. Also sent my SS a message on elfster with that info. I hope they can at least get their money back on this.

Well I finally got back into town and my gift has been sitting here waiting. I am not going to open it until Christmas, as that is what should happen right? Unless it is ok to open on the first night of Hanukkah as @Bleigh mentioned. Being Jewish myself, this is my first dealing with anything secret Santa related.

I think since Christmas morning is another day to me. (Please, no one take that the wrong way) I will open it then and post pics. Seems fitting in a sense. Not to say the anticipation is not killing me. I want to know what it is, soooooo bad.

Big thank you to my SS. Nailed it. I just upgraded to my 24g and was looking at adding a refugium. This light will work great in my back chamber. I don't have access to high quality pellets locally either so this will be great. I'm sure my clowns will love it. And now I have a R2R sticker to start my reefing swag.
