Perfect Thanksgiving dinner. Just look at that smoke ring.

So..... where's ours at? :thinking-face: ;)

Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!! I hope everyone was able to enjoy time with there families. Or is atleast planning on it this weekend!!

Glad to see you following your gut. Piece of mind is the best thing to have. And I think going fallow is really the only way to achieve that. I hope everything goes smoothly for you through the whole QT process

So far so good. The only down side with the stock tanks is you can get a good view of the fish.

Since removing the angel the LPS looking better.

When the tank is fallow how do you guys feed the tank?

I use it as a time to grow massive amounts of pods through restocking and phyto dosing.

Cyclopod cubes, rotifers, oyster feast straight into the water column.

I usually do one big WC at the beginning, and maybe one towards the middle. Don't want to remove all the built up nitrates your coral are used to without a way to replenish them.

Now that the angel is out its going to stay in the tub. I'm going to use the tub to grow bta and a mangrove. Maybe a coral and invert qt

Fish are going to go through a transfer method.

That's not my tank. My tanks is fishless. My buddy has a 180 looking at a 240.
