Somehow I feel like there may be a resemblance. Adorable.

A pre and post edit shot...

Not a whole lot of changes made between the 2. The camera did most of the work for me actually. Took this pic with my phone camera. Pro mode... ISO 85, Speed 1/45 F1.5, Auto focus on, White Balance 8500K

Aside from cropping, only minor touch ups needed, just a little boost to the yellow and a couple other minor adjustments.

The lights are on full blue as always.

The point here is that you CAN take those fantastic shots of your tank, IF you take a little bit of time to learn your phone camera. The link above is an awesome resource, and will make even to most novice person taking those incredible shots we all love to see.

These three... I have no words. What is the Wrasse? Not the leopard.

Stethojulis balteata. Don't keep one without an 8' tank. It was fine with all tankmates, even the sexy shrimp, but constantly paced non-stop, and needs to eat 6+ times per day. Mine withered away, even with constant feedings. It wasn't comfortable in a 4' system, ended up dying before I could rehome it to someone with an 8' system. Ideally at least an 8'x4' footprint so it has room to coast before needing to turn.

I'll keep one again some day, but not without at least an 8'x4' tank.

We had it for maybe 1.5 years .
it started off to be what looked like hlle but it’s starting to take on a yellow tinge on the top of its head .
Otherwise seams to be healthy , very active
Well it looks healthy and very unique.

Sad, but beautiful fish. I always try to bring something positive away when something doesn't work out. Looks like you did the same. 8 foot upgrade time.

Yup. I learn something from every success and every failure. Also interesting, even though it was a big fish 6"+ he would only eat really small food. He even would avoid large mysis, preferring the mini mysis, brine, baby brine, or pods. Really liked cyclopeeze. Also refused flake and pellet.

It seams the yellow belly’s are a lot easier to acclimate and easier to keep free of ich . Perhaps hardier compared to a traditional “blue tang ?
Possibly, I have had both "ich free" but of the two yellow belly blue tangs that I have had, they have been easier. More docile temperament too from my experience.

Whale sharks only eat plankton...

Possibly just the wrasse instinct to hunt for small food? I have never had a large wrasse to observe their behavior in a tank.
