Sharing Triton Results - marine pure user

I wanted to share my results for those who may be interested and get some guidance. Aside from the obvious Mg and Ca deficiency, do you see any other issues that I should address or be concerned about? TIA!

Water volume - 80 gallon
DIY algae scrubber
No GFO
GAC 1/2 cup passively in sump
Dose only Randy's Recipe 2part
10% weekly water change using Red Sea Regular
8x8x4 marine pure block in sump
8x8x1 marine pure plate between sump baffle

The aluminum is pushing it. I saw problems at 500 ppb and not 50 ppb (you have 141 ppb), but it will likely depend on the specific form and the way organics bind it.

Doesn't look unusual for Al content and so far doesn't seem to be a problem. Though my yellow fiji and sponges don't seem to like possibly some fines that come from the blocks when they are added or disturbed.

I'll be testing the capabilities for GFO to remove that Al possibly next month when it gets warmer where I'm at.

No NH3/4, NO2 or NO3 measurements? No water column bacteria counts? No DOC concentrations?

When did triton offer these things as part of there test?

Seeing as the Al is close to Triton's own warning, it would seem as though the Marine Pure is either leeching into the water or breaking up.
How long have you been using Marine Pure?
How long has the system been up and running?

I'm saying, the tests I pointed out would be very useful, more useful than quite a few of the tests included on the triton list.

Maybe they aren't really relative to the triton system; I don't know?

I just would expect those parameters I mentioned, that are relative to the average reef keeper, would be included in such an indepth analysis, thats all.

Ok.... I think everyone is well aware what triton tests, i mean using a ICP-OES you will not be able to test for the other "more useful" tests that you are recommending,

Triton is still the leader in the most "useful" test of params available.

the triton test will certainly be usefull as it has been suggest for some time they slowly add aluminium to the water.

Alright I'll be this guy, is it causing any problems? I use marine pure blocks or the balls in pretty much every system I have or care for. I even have a large block in my 48x13x13 experiential frag tank, and see zero issues and haven't seen anything detrimental. Frankly I don't give a rip if there's Al in the water as it just doesn't seem to cause problems, but that's just me. To me the only problems it can cause is when it's added to an established system and it causes bacterial blooms or mini cycles, which is to be expected and does stress inhabitants. Alright that'll be enough from me.

I have two MarinePure blocks in my 100g sump for my 180. Only problem I have had is they eventually reduced my NO3 to zero when my display was fallow. Just added some potassium nitrate and problem solved. All my SPS, LPS, and several zoas are doing very well. No real problems for me. I love the blocks. Doubled my biological filtration or more and I don't have a display with rock and a little water.
