Figured I might as well start a tank thread and make myself at home ;-)

Tank has only been running about 25 days. Currently going thru its cycle. I cycled the Pukani rocks for one month prior in brute tub. The rock piece on the left I chisled a hole thru to make a cavern. The little island in the middle will be for my anemone and clownfish. My plan is to place all tabling SPS on the rock bridge and eventually hide that. So down the road when the tank matures hopefully the corals look like they are suspended in mid air. Seen another tank like this that gave me the idea.

Once I changed out the return everything works great on the tank now. Very impressed with the quality and craftsmanship from Red Sea. Top notch.

Equipment list:
Vertex 180i Omega Skimmer
Waveline 6000 DC Return Pump
2 - Vortex MP40QD's
ATI Dimmable Sunpower 48"

Now for some pictures.. Sorry they are so blue. Taken with my cellphone and before I changed out some of the ATI blue bulbs.

Killer tank! LOVE that sweet aquascape and bridge!

Thanks everyone. Working on some wood customization for the right side inside the cabinet. I'll post pictures once its all together and done. I hope to be adding fish and corals soon. Probably another week or so. Slow and steady wins the race ;-) or at least the battle with alge.

That Aquascape and bridge look like an ancient war hammer. It would be really cool to build a reef-safe replica and design a tank around one.

Did you use epoxy and an acrylic Rod to make the bridge Stay Together?

I used the acrylic rods that BRS sells and mortar mix that Marco rocks sells. I then notched each rock piece with a dremel tool so they wouldn't spin and they locked together. I'll upload some pictures tonight that I took while doing it.

looks amazing, but I myself am not a big fan of the bridge.. Not trying to "diss" your setup though.

Mark_D no problems. Everyone is different. The bridge originally had much more of curve when it was dry fit. Then when I put the mortar on and let it dry it became very rigid, stiff and straight. I wish it wasn't so straight because it looks very un-natural. But its pinned on each end and will come right out in one piece in case I ever have to remove it. Also I'm really hoping when the SPS grows out you won't be able to notice the straight bridge ;).
