Update I have found my other snail now on its back again there wasn’t a snail just a shell I think on the bottom of my tank and I have been upstairs all day and haven’t noticed ( face palm ) so now I don’t have any snails I will have to go to my lfs this weekend and get some more and try and get ones that can right themselves

Direct your attention to the hermits .
How many do you have ?

they will attack and kill snails primarily for the shell .
But sometimes just to check the shell if it’s a suitable fit .
if not they will leave the shell behind

Have the hermits snails and crabs got food? If not they will be looking for food, and a poor turbo is a easy target!
Yes I think because I have got diatoms in my tank as it’s new and if they don’t eat that then they where fed not yesterday the day before ( I feed every other day as I can sometimes be quite heavy handed while feeding) so they had food and the snail last time I saw it was high up on the glass

I have 2 hermits and there are about 6 or 7 different sized shells in the tank for them and last night the snail was high up on the glass

moving is a lot of work .
maybe they don’t want to pack up and move yet.
Waiting for the real estate market to improve ....
all joking aside .

Provide plenty of empty shells of various sizes for them to choose .
as they grow they will need and seek for bigger shells

Your tank looks about 4 days old lol probably not enough food in the tank to keep all of your CUC alive. I'd wait before putting anything else in there.

Lol aha you’d think until you see the little bit of algae but now I don’t have any snails ? I was going to get nassarius snails this weekend but is that a bad idea for CUC now I only have 2 hermit crabs and a blood shrimp

Because it’s too new and too clean . There really isn’t much for anything else to eat .

So no snails when I go tomorrow ? Can I buy food for the cuc then cause I don’t want my hermits and my blood shrimp to die

They aren't much of a clean up crew if you're having to feed them. But seeing as they are in there now I would say feed them every now and then. Nassarius snails are good for eating whatever is left over if you're going to be feeding things and they stir up the sand bed. Unless your glass or rock has a lot of algae I wouldn't add any other snails to clean those things for now. Let that stuff build up a bit or the crabs may help out some.

I have some brown what I think is diatom algae and that is spreading there is some on the glass some on the rocks and a little on the sandbed . If I should feed them what do I feed them ? As I only have ocelaris clowns for fish now I am feeding marine pellets and the very occasional frozen bloodworm block

Also the trochus snails can right themselves. If you're looking for the ones that will go on glass and rock.
Thanks yeah I think it will be trochus and nassarius so I can get the rock glass and stir up the sandbed

If you have clown fish then thats all they need is leftover clown food. Its their job to clean up the clown food. Clowns are usually clumsy eaters and sometimes like to spit out a pellet and grab another for whatever reason symmetry? Who knows... so the crabs should eat that as should a shrimp. The Nassarius would eat anything missed as well. The trochus would clean the dusting of diatoms on your glass or rocks. Usually diatoms are not a permanent thing and go away but the trochus will eat whatever comes after it as well. It will also move from your rocks to glass looking for the easiest meal.
