i have 2 on the way from LA , CA.

So these things are sensitive ? Great...

Adds a little more to the 3 leopard wrasses on the way ... Ohhhh the things we get ourselves into.

Yea I hear the same thing. Just not sure if I’ll ever see it. Crazy how sensitive they are. Not even sure how the LFS keeps these things alive.
 
My LFS takes a 4 hour drive to LA every Wednesday and brings back coral and creatures. I can’t keep it from stressing out off a 40 min drive.

I got this guy about two months ago, didn't realize he had to be acclimated, dropped him in, he's been right as rain!!!

Showed up for bubble algae eating emerald crabs. They been feeding the bubble algae sssooo I went for it.. then I saw a purple ball... and well $60 later I had two crabs and the purple ball lol

yeah pricey.. Sorry man.

I get them for $10. The guy has his license and gets them at some great price? It's unbelievable what stores jack the prices up to.. I dont want to hijack your thread i was just curious what they are going for on in LFS.

Anyway man, keep trying...

I had 2 leopards die during shipping from Liveaquaria..

the recent leopard delivery was fine, and we'll see about this next big order. If you want it bad enough you'll keep trying. But it's good to know that these guys are sensitive. I didn't know that. I believe the ones i ordered are, Globe Urchin, and Long Spine Urchin.

Nice! No worries thread overs lol. When people start saying pray for it.. I think the emergency is over... and mother nature is going to work it out, one way or another.

Happen to me with 2 fish not too long ago.

Yea. When it dies lol. Figured it out when my cleaner shrimp was digging into the head of the tuxedo. Doing his job trying to keep the tank clean.
 
Dropped all his spines before it died. Really easy to know if it still alive or notZ

Then again, my tank is a Biocube with two clowns, lost the goby. I can risk a little more.

What would you be scared of?

I don’t put the LFS water in the tank, I take the urchin fully out of the water and put it in my tank when it’s time.
