Well said. I was going to post the same thing.As per Hanna's website (http://shop.hannainst.com/hi755-alkalinity-saltwater.html), the Checker is for marine water, not freshwater. It does say the range is 0-300 ppm, and there is no way marine water would be 0 alkalinity. So I guess it's quite possible that it will not work properly with freshwater. Mine seemed to work properly last night when I tested the RO/DI.
Cause I don't think you understand that reading ALK in freshwater is not the same as salt water.Why would I get a reading then both tds meters still read 0
