Should seller be responsible for FedEx/weather delays?

I don’t mind giving a buyer 3 he DOA unless they send a pic of the corals being taken into their house. If they came home 3 hours after corals were delivered they can die on their porch being cooked under sun.
I’ve tested that and if you use good styrofoam coolers, you get about 4-5 hours in the direct sun on a hot day before you’d have too high of temps. And this is worst case scenario like 110F outside in the sun.
 
We all get to choose who we want to do business with. I stick with trusted vendors who have policies I agree with. I recently just went through this and I have to give a big shout out to Battle corals awesome customer service. It wasn't their fault the package was delayed, but Adam had me covered. I hate to see the vendor eat all of the cost in cases like this so I usually go ahead and order a couple of frags to be shipped with the replacements. My thinking is if a company is really good and is one I want to continue to support, then I want to share some of the replacement shipping costs. Many times when there is a shipping delay it has effected more then just your shipment, and if a vendor has 7 shipments delayed that can be a huge loss.
