Show me your cool tank stand!

I'm going to be doing something similar with a hood attached to the wall. Did you brace the corners or just glue and screw?
Every thing is bolted to the wall. We originally mount the cabinet using tv wall brackets but there was to much sag. Thats when I decided to use the brackets.

Here is one I'm pretty proud of! The corners are made of 4×4 posts I cut down on a bandsaw. Tank is a 45 cube center overflow.

A lot of nice cabinets on here, but this is creative cool right here!
I'm a carpenter myself and really like seeing things that are different, unique.

Here is an update on mine, i posted it earlier, but its just about done. Still a work in progress.

Wish you were closer!! I would totally ask you to build something like this for my 65 we just got.
I love having different stuff I love building stuff form nothing,I'm not even using the tank but my wife won't let me sell it. Lol. I'm into bigger tanks and am in the middle of a new build with a 180 reef and 240 fowlr

Well if you ever get bored - you can always tech my husband how lol. We are in mount Dora for and have a 65 that needs a stand lol

Unfortunately my time is scarce, I'm a air conditioning tech and we still haven't hit winter here as you know, lol, can't even finish my tank stand and an unrelated plumbing leak took out half our floors today but I'm flattered

The corners are glue and screw. The front of the hood opens so I can service the tank.
Original plan was to use a tv bracket. It wasn't able to with stand the front weight so I then purchased brackets and wire. I asked the wife if she would rather see the brackets or the wire hanging from the ceiling. She choose the brackets.

Here is mine so far. It is holding a 60" 120 and 40b sump. Upper frame is C4x5.4 channel and everything else is 2" .120 wall square tubing.

I am now working on the canopy and cabinet faces to skin it. Got all of the frames done and did all of the router work on the 6 cabinet doors yesterday.
