My electronics are in a metal enclosure, mounted to an aluminum back plate.

Great idea! I’ve been looking everywhere for a cabinet to fit my idea. Can you share where you bought this?

I'll get pics up shortly (day or so) I used 1"square dowel top and bottom as a back support for mounting board to allow space between back of cabinet and mounting panel.

Funny you asked, I've had them apart as I added the wireless module to them but in laziness I cut the holes in rear of cabinet 2 1/2" with a hole saw so dry sides would pass through. I considered smaller holes and disassembly but figured larger holes would help ventilate any heat from EP8s. Note these are MP10's so holes are at 2 1/2"s

Are all of these on timers etc...? Have you ever considered a controller w/multiple outlets? You put alot of "sweat equity" into that panel! How do you control all of it?

I am thinking my next project needs to be making a controller panel to mount all my equipment controllers to and to tidy up the birdsnest of wires running behind my stand.

Looking for inspiration on building one of these. If possible I would like to see the backside of the board/ cabinet too to see how to handle the powerstrips and powerbricks that come with some equipment.

Forgot the actual cabinet. Got from Goodwill for 6$ then re painted, put in cable outlets, etc.

The top 2 rows all have timers that are on my other tank at the moment. The next 2 rows have controllers that operate them on and of or things that don't need to be turned off. The bottom row has a bank of switches on the front side that I can turn on and off as needed.
I did consider a controller but a lot of my stuff wasn't compatible with a controller.

That is one labor intense effort! I can appreciate the amount of time you have invested in that. I'm a semi-retired audio engineer/concert sound tech IE: "roadie" and I know what goes into building electronics in a road case/amp rack. And that my friend is a monumental effort.

I made the wood surround out of plywood. The housing is a metal electrical enclosure, Hoffman concept series. I monitored ebay until I found a good deal on the enclosure.

I'll include a few pictures too, although mine is still in the process of being finalized... I used 1/2 plywood and cut out holes and whatnot. Used cross beams to give space on the backside where most of the power supplies will be mounted and used a hanging bracket to hang it inside the stand on the wall. This will allow me to pull the entire panel out in case I need to replace or repair anything. I'll add a few pics here, but a whole step-by-step is in my build tread (link in my signature)

The acrylic shelf is for a doser and profilux 4. The middle empty space will have the two controller power supplies.
