I used to have that same CO2 mount in my racecar until they made change it to a full ring.... crazy to see! haha i'm glad I changed it now because if something were to ever happen, it could possibly slip out and I wouldn't want to get hit by that thing....

Ya picked it up a on amazon, and your post makes sense - this was hard to find. I hate seeing the cylinders sitting on the floor, and this was the only cool looking mount i could find. I wanted to get a blue powder coated CO2 cylinder too , but i was unable to source one.

Sometimes my reefing buddies will see it sitting next to my car and ask if I’m setting up something for my tank
I have to explain how it’s used for my car to make consistent power.... haha

Has anyone found a gloss black small cabinet that matches a Red Sea Reefer 250, that isn't ridiculously priced?

I used a metal wiring cabinet from Lowe’s. I sanded, primed and painted. It’s lockable, to keep kids out!

I am looking for something just like this for my reefer 250. How much can you fit in there? Is it just your brain and eb832 and it’s full? I have a full apex but also have 4 modules I wonder if that would fit in there.

This is the second tank that I have done like this. I added doors on the back of the stand and everything is mounted on the doors. Put my ATO container in a wooden cube next to the stand. I have a matching cube on the other side for storage of tank items.
My 90 gallon that I had before this, I sat on a 6 foot stand instead of 4 foot. Built a wall inside it and put the electronics in one end. My 120 peninsula I made a rolling oak cabinet (matched the stand) that fit between the stand and the wall.

This is the cabinet of my 75 gallon mixed reef tank. The stand is 48" wide by 40" tall which is nice for viewing without having to lean over much. With the extra cabinet height, I made an equipment shelf above the sump. The controls are mounted on the doors, which swing open. Everything else hides behind the doors, mostly electrical cords.

I use to tie cords together nice and neat, until I found how difficult it was to remove a piece of equipment. Now its accessible, fast and easy to remove any item with the cords sitting loosely on the shelf.

It's a mess of cords, electrical outlets and transformers you don't have to look at, once the doors are closed.

How are your cabinet lights controlled? Is it a breakout box or manual control?

This is Nice...What type/amp wires did you use for your cabinet lights and are they controlled by a breakout box and magnetic contact reeds?

The LED strip lights are manual control. On the right set of doors, there is a white switch at the bottom, where the two doors meet. Here are updated pictures. It can be switched with doors open or closed.

Nice, that's a ginormous skimmer you have there too btw... and so the cabinet doors are manually controlled as soon as you open the doors?

The middle section (wooden panel) comes off but isn’t a door.

I still have a fair bit of equipment to install on the left side and build a shelf for the reef link box.

Bubble magnus...which one is that one and how much water is it in? I just purchased the D8 curve for a rebuild of my sump area...I assume you are not in the USA by your electrical plugs...lol so cool

Cheers, its a BubbleMagus (BM) G9 Skimmer and in approx 15 gallons of water. There are 4 separate sumps
1st - 15 gallons holding the BM Filter Roller and Heater
2nd - 15 gallons holding the G9 and carbon reactor
3rd - 15 gallons holding the pump and ATO sensor
4th - 15 gallons RODI reservoir holding ATO unit

I'm from the UK so i bet the plumbing also look very different to how you guys do yours.

I've only been in SW for 2 months so please excuse my ignorance. My LFS owner and son helped me with building the set up and plumbing

No, the light switch is not controlled by the doors. It is manual on/off. Though a door "contact switch" to auto turn light on or off when the door opens and closes is great idea!

In the first picture you can see my homemade French cleats in the top right and left hand corners... so I just lift the cabinet and it detached from the tank stand and I have access to the plugs.... once I finish organizing the wires back there I will definitely post a picture of the backside of the cabinet...
