Show Me Your Equipment Cabinets

Thank you!!

In the first picture you can see my homemade French cleats in the top right and left hand corners... so I just lift the cabinet and it detached from the tank stand and I have access to the plugs.... once I finish organizing the wires back there I will definitely post a picture of the backside of the cabinet...
cool thanks would love to see that ;-)

I used a metal wiring cabinet from Lowe’s. I sanded, primed and painted. It’s lockable, to keep kids out!

Nice concept. Did you screw this directly to the side of the stand? Also how did you mount the stuff on the inside? Did those get screwed into the stand also or is there room between?

And the ion will go below this when it is released.

these are some great eye-catching work! great work everyone! I want to build a cabinet for my red sea reefer 625 and some the these ideas will greatly inspire. I have one question, while it all look pretty on the outside, how do you manage things behind the board? I have a hard time squeezing in the cables. Do you mind sharing your cable management strategy? We always end up removing one or more devices for service, troubleshooting etc. How do you manage all that?

This thread has some awe inspiring work. Below is not one of them. What I did manage to do though is to use the tiny space behind the tank.

I added wheels under so I can pull it out as needed. If I had another half an inch I could have fit the Apex Energy Bar in it, made it a little bit taller and fit all the equipment in there. Now I have them split between the cabinet and behind the tank. Still I am able to recover valuable real estate in the cabinet.

Hope it helps someone out there.

On my tank in living room- rather than adding yet another box, I simply mounted my controller/accessories on an equipment board onto side of my tank

I am planning on setting up my dry cabinet equipment.. What power bars are you using? Did you buy plug to male convertors to plug them in the back of the extension?

My setup!

Hi. I really like your design and details.
Where can i find those egde-trims with led you are using ?:)

Inspired! Yes same question to the led edge trim. Where!? Okay. .Off to the design drawing board.

BTW. I only see a couple examples where folks are using fans. Is heat not a big concern in some of these cabinets? There's some heat of course from the AC adapters and whatnot, but I haven't noticed a bigger heat generator source.
