I'm just getting back into the hobby and am haunting this place half of the day trying to wrap my brain around everything. lol

Anyway, sometimes the board just looks like an endless list of horror stories about all manner of things going wrong, diseases and algaes and dinos, out of control parameters and missing fish and 'what is this' and on and on.

And I step back and think "What the heck am I getting into?"

Of course, 90% of people only post when things are going sideways and they're looking for advice. And that makes sense.

So I thought I'd post this and see if anyone had some good news to share, something to show off, or just a success story in general.

Me? Last night's success was getting water and salt and heat together in a Brute can! Baby steps! Huzzah! I'll post a fascinating picture in a bit!

My good news is I switched off BRS 2-part after years of struggling with my reef and on to TM All For Reef and things are taking off like a shot, coloring up and growing finally. Yay!

My 20g sps nano cube turned 4 months yesterday.

Tankless at present.
Had to shut down my tank in August 2021 due to some unforeseen circumstances. This 180g was with me for 2-2.5yrs. Unfortunately didn't document much.. Just some phn clicks.

Not sure if this qualifies for this thread...My apologies if it doesn't

But the good news is ...in next couple of months looking at starting one final build.

Ya it's a Japanese Dragon Eel, I got it from one of my lfs's for $750 when it was around 18 inches its now around 24 inches. I'm in SoCal where are you located and how much$$$ were they asking?
