Here's my little set up.

Very nice setup. What is the brand of that faucet and where did you get it. Thanks.

Here's my 7 Stage as well. It's functional for producing water but, I haven"t quite finished the plumbing yet.

Thank you! The faucet is an APPASO Commercial Kitchen Faucet Pull Down Sprayer and Pot Filler Brushed Nickel 139BN. I got it on their website.

Wondering if I can post a question here as it pertains to RODI Setup. I'm looking to set up my RODI in my basement laundry room. Would I be able to snake tubing through the ceiling across the basement into a ATO reservoir? The RODI and reservoir would both be on the same level/floor (basement), just in different rooms.

Also, while I have your attention, is it safe to pour saltwater into my slop sink drain? I would like to setup auto water changes and wondering where I can drain the old water.

Thanks!
Gaspare

I don't see anything wrong with running your RODI line across the ceiling. I am basically doing the same thing, except mine runs down and through my crawlspace.

I have poured old salt water down my drains for years, and I am on a septic tank, with no harm done as far as I can tell

No problem with doing either of those things Gaspipe. That is exactly what I am doing. Just make sure you have a pump that can handle the head pressure. My run from the RODI and saltwater tanks is 45' to my aquarium room. Was waiting for the Versa dosers to become available since they can handle the distance but got tired of waiting. Talked with BRS and to my surprise they recommended to use the booster pumps that you use on RODI systems and they push and pull water just fine. Way more volume than a Doser. I was shocked because I have never read on this site of anyone utilizing a booster pump for this application. I always thought you needed a water pressure input for a booster pump to work but I was wrong. The reefing expert at BRS said that some of there employees have been using booster pumps for awhile without any issues. No pump maintenance required.
Thought I would add this little bit of info on booster pumps in case others have a distance issue like I have.

I was just looking into BRS booster pumps yesterday, and on their website it says that they require 20psi inlet pressure or it voids the warranty.
