Here is an early picture showing how I set up the lighting. I went with an AI Hydra 26 HD. Built a custom shelf which the light hangs from. Plenty of light and looks great!

Tank also has HOB Skimmer, HOB Refugium, and filter.
That's great use of the stand and above area over the tank. I'm sure if we did that to most of our tanks girlfriends and wives would be much more pleased hahahaha

The girlfriend was a huge part in the entire process, and she still is! I swear it was a huge reason why it was a successful build and continues to be a successful aquarium. Very important to keep them happy!

I constantly asked her input on stand designs and other details. The final product is something we are both proud of. It also helps make it part of the apartment, rather than a stand alone object in the space.

Yup! Got them at Petco for $20 or around there.

I went to a guys house that I found on Craig's list to buy some odds and ends he had laying around, and he sold me 3 of those for $3 each! I've been using em for years and they haven't failed me yet! I love those little pumps.

I just got my 29g set up and cycling so I figured I'd better share mine now as well!

Sun blaze 4 bulb t5 with ATI bulbs 2 B+ and 2 C+

Two koralia nano pumps one 425 and one 240 I believe.

And a penguin biowheel 200 hob filter I'm planning to use for carbon and such. Unless I do a DIY fuge.
