Show off those chunky tangs

Here's "whale pig", a lieutenant tang (about a year and a half ago). He's about 8-9" long and almost 2" thick. A tubby tang for sure. I've got a naso, pyroferus, and scopus too... and a foxface. They are all really thick and meaty. Once I started feeding nori every day (a few years ago) I noticed they really fattened up. All the other fish in the tank are rather rotund as well. Good sign!

Not chunky, but just picked this little guy at the LFS... Unfortunately he seems to have come with a swag-bag of ich (yay for QT).

Gonna work on fattening him up a bit.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Velvet wiped out all our babies except two clowns. It’s awful.

My chunky tang is my Lavender. Definitely fat and healthy. But as active as this fish is, I'm surprised it is my fattest one! I pretty much accidentally got this shot.
