I have it in a 120 gallon tank. I feed NLS pellets once every day and put algae sheets in every day. I feed selecon and garlic soaked Rod's frozen food every 2 days. I have a yellow tang and a purple tang with him. I rushed the qt a lot [emoji16] only 4 days, in which he was treated with General Cure. Zoacollector had already treated him with copper twice so I didn't worry about that. Hope this helps
P.S. At zoacollector.com they are only $125!
due to increase in costs but we still have them at very affordable pricing. If anyone is interested you can pm us or email at [email protected]Awesome he's doing great!

How's your water circulation? Everything I read emphasized major water movement for these guys. I'd love to have one, but like many others I'm too afraid to try one. I just recently got a regal angel I've been wanting, but too afraid of trying. I believe you suggested I get one in my thread looking for a new fish.
Here's mine, well was mine until yesterday

Getting them ready to go
In now ... The Achilles Tang in the 250 reef and a small clown trigger in the predator tank ....

That was a juvenile achilles, about 2 1/2" in size, they won't show a lot of the orange tear drop towards the tail when they are young but it will develop as they get larger.Ok. My next fish will be an Achilles. Live Aquria has juv. Are
Is that an adult Achilles tang? If it is that's a very cute size for an adult. Does the juvenile have the orange spot? LA has some juvenile that seems to be similar size or smaller than that one in the pic. Are they hardy after shipping? How best to acclimate them in the first two weeks of QT?

To tell you the truth, they are the hardest tangs to acclimate to your tank, very sensitive and hard to make them eat.

That's a very good sign, he should be eating anything soon+1 on hard to get to eat. Mine only eats nori right now![]()
I've had 3 so far in my 125. The first 2 died quickly and the 3rd one was doing fine in my tank for about 8 months. I can home from work one day to see him with some wild infection which ended its life. I've attached the only pic I have which was take one day before he died. I love these fish but they are def difficult to keep alive IMO and a lot has to do with where you purchase them from. I'm think about a hybrid for my next try.
