Well. Update. She's a teenager now. She managed to sneak up to a chromi that wasn't doing well and are it. I've never seen a belly that big before!!!

still cant get mine to eat frozen.
ive use tongs, ive used a stealth stick, nothing.
Ive tried krill and silversides, and shows really not interest.
Hes been swimming around a lot recently too.

Has anyone had any luck getting them to eat non-live foods? I've wanted one for years but just can't justify it as getting live is too much of a hassle. Guess I should take up breeding clowns as food. :p

I think it is a baby but I am not entirely sure.

As for getting them to eat frozen check out this thread.

Feeding video. The first minute and a half I am getting the shrimp so the inpatient can skip to 1:30 mark. At 2:03 you can see him grab one. He took down 3 shrimp so I pulled the rest out to prevent over eating. I guess I was expecting to much for him to ration his food.

Getting some fish to take frozen isn't terribly hard. Others, like anglers, its nearly impossible from what I've gathered. I'd like to see if anyone has had any success themselves.

Great video- little guys is hungry. No subtlety involved! Try putting a couple of rocks in the middle. The shrimp may try to hide near them and won't be so quick to run.

That's awesome! It looks like the shrimp are almost as big as the fish and he just sucks them down like a hoover. I saw a frog fish on my last dive trip and man I wish I could have one but all the fish I plan to have in my tank are fairly small. I'm afraid it would eat them all. That's why I'm wondering if it's possible to get a pygmy one.

Here is my angler feeding on a ghost shrimp. Sorry for the quality. It was taken years ago. Unfortunately I don't have the little fella anymore. My favorite fish for sure.
