Can you guys tell me your light intensity like royal blue, deep blue, white, red, green, uv what are the percentages at?

That photo was 100% all channels, but normally I run 80% UV, V, RB, DB and 40% W, G, R. I run that for 7hr with a 1hr ramp up and down. The 2:1 blue:white ratio is what AI says for 20k look.

Haha! Really the reds and purples are more vivid in person that that photo, but I don't know how, and have not spent the time to learn, how to bring those out. That is just out of the camera with lightroom white balance.

I have hydra 26s and since January

The elegance does like the lights it is just pulled in a little because it is getting to much flow and the male clown has recently taken a liking to it and keeps diving into it. I just added another MP60 to the tank and I am still fine tuning the flow so right now it is getting a little to much. Mine likes more of a casual amount of flow. The picture doesn't show it but it is bright green with white highlights and pink tips. My cell phone doesn't like taking pictures with LED to well so the colors look off.

That leather I got as a frag and have had it for 20 years. It has gotten so big I am working on setting up a 120 gallon in my fish room for it. From this angle you can't see them but behind it I have SPS growing and it is crowding them out. So I am setting up a lagoon style tank with lots of soft corals, gorgonians and algae and I am pluming it into my main system. I get to keep it and make a productive biotope tank. Win win I say.

I have been running these lights since December when I replaced my Maxspect. They took a little fine tuning but I love how they work. I really have to be careful when acclimating new sps frags or it bleaches them.

Your tank looks nice. I built a 400 gallon plywood tank got up and running last Sept. Have just 3 sol blues and two weeks ago i added 4 t5 bulbs for fill. I cannot get elegances to live, i shade them i move them into more light nothing works, looks good for about a week then goes downhill. Leathers do good clam does good, duncans doing good, one green long tenacle acro doing good, just cant figure it out.

Thanks. Glad your other corals are doing so well. I had though about building a plywood tank a few years ago, I just never got around to it.

Elegance are one of those corals that some people they do well and others they don't. I got mine as a frag just over a year and a half ago and I almost lost it when it got stung. It lost over half it's tissue but it recovered and is doing great again. Mine likes bright light but it has to be on my substrate. It doesn't like sitting on rocks or it starts to decline. It likes strong random flow. I found that if you have a large amount of caulerpa in you refugium they do better. A lot of them grow in lagoons in the wild mixed amongst the sea grass and algae beds. They seem to do better with this in a tank. I noticed the more mature my refugium got the better it did. At least mine and a few of my friends do.

I have a bare bottom and i use an algae scrubber. Guess its time to get some sand and order some caulerpa thanks

Try a small patch of sand and place it on it first and see how it does. Unless you don't mind doing substrate.

I once tried using miracle mud in a plastic pan didnt work. I have bought from different venders same results each time. I can grow favia, pagoda cup, but struggle with frogspawn, hammers, and elegance. Maybe i have to many leathers. I have 25 leathers growing maybe that is my problem.
