I. Could buy black box lights instead of Ecotech XR30 gen 5’s. I could buy $30 power heads for circulation instead of Ecotech MP40s. Go cheap if you choose. Up to you.

Uk.. not three if you have to have 750gph but definitely 3 of the smaller ones or two of the bigger size ones.

Yeah sorry my reply wasn’t meant to come across as dismissive of your OP, I was replying to the post directly above mine requesting feedback on size and wattage of return pumps.

Lol, you have not clue about the two pumps I listed.

Sicce pumps break like many pumps. I had to replace a Sicce skimmer pump after 4 years because it died.

This isn't a argument.........I posted the info for people that want the same performance and not have to pay for an overpriced pump.

Im not sure where the voices in your mind are coming up with “an argument.” I’m simply asking for an update or another reliable brand.

I just picked this pump up to do large water changes from my main tank. A standard 3/4" PVC threaded female is not fitting; How do I connect a hose to this pump?

I use the sicce utility pump in the bottom of my salt mixing brute. It's fantastic for water changes too. I think my only complaint is it's fairly loud. Would purchase again, price is decent for the function.

It's garden hose thread. Need something like this:

1/2" ID Hose x Swivel FGHT Nylon Swivel Female Insert | U.S. Plastic Corp.

These fittings are an excellent choice for tubing and hose applications involving garden hose threads.

Do you really need to pay $100 for a salt mixing pump though?

I paid 200 for my Pan World on mixing station lol

Also I forgot to mention that is very reasonably priced for a sicce quality pump.

Yep, 100. I have one. Emptys the 38 gallons in the brute right into the tank quickly.
