Hello everyone from sunny Miami, FL. This is our first large tank so I’m very intimidated about this whole process but, thanks to the folks from my LFS and some great threads I’ve been following on this forum, I feel that I am making some progress setting up this good looking tank 
. I shall mention that I am brand new to this forum so I am here to learn from the experts and fellow reefers.
Previously I kept a 29G Biocube about 10 years ago and now we currently have a 32G Biocube which my wife is obse ssed with but we know we couldn’t grow much so we decided to get this new tank from our LFS. Luckily for us the deal we got included delivery, assembly, and 5 bags of live sand so that saved us major headaches that come with this crucial part. So our journey started with getting the equipment. I've done some research for a couple of months and got recommendations from our LFS. This is the actual list of all items we have on hand.
· Red Sea reefer 525 xl deluxe (BLACK)
· AI Hydra 26 HD LED X 3 (INCLUDED W/ MOUNTS)
· EcoTech Marine Vectra L1 pump
· REEF OCTOPUS REGAL 200SSS 8" PROTEIN SKIMMER
· VORTECH MP40WQD QUIETDRIVE PROPELLER PUMP X 2
· VORTECH BATTERY BACK-UP (will add 2nd)
· NEPTUNE APEX GOLD CONTROLLER SYSTEM
· Apex Wireless Expansion WXM Module
· AQUAMAXX GFO AND CARBON REACTOR
· AQUAMAXX BIOMAXX BIOPELLET REACTOR
· Aqua Euro USA Max Chill 1/4 HP Aquarium Chiller
· Coralife Turbo-Twist 6x UV Sterilizer
· Aquatic Life Twist-In 100 GPD 4-Stage RO/DI
· 250W EHEIM JAGER AQUARIUM HEATER ( NEED MORE JUICE)
· BRS PUKANI DRY LIVE ROCK – 30 LBS
· BRS TONGA SHELF WITH BASE DRY LIVE ROCK – 15 LBS
· BRS REEF SAVER DRY AQUARIUM LIVE ROCK – 30 LBS
· Nature's Ocean Bio-Activ Live Sand – 100 lbs
· Instant Ocean BIO-Spira x 2
I have to order another heater but I'm undecided which model to get since the one I bought looks like a baseball bat so I want something smaller perhaps two cobalts....
