Many, many things happened since the last update.
First, I lost all my fish to a bacterial infection. I managed to treat the female clown which was the healthiest, but it just wasn't the same when I put it back in the tank. So, after I treated it again so it was eating and strong enough, I set it free in the ocean.
Next, I took an extra project last month to help pay the bills. That means I lost most of my weekend tank maintenance time. I also turned off my fan one rainy day and forgot to turn it back on for about 2.5 weeks. This caused the nem to shrink and bleach. But I've fixed that issue and have now been back to doing tank stuff now that my extra project is nearing completion(web stuff).
Also, during that time i accidentally broke a zoa branch (and fixed it), added a sixline wrasse that was promptly eaten by a gorilla crab which has since been removed, and added a porcelain anemone crab that is now happily living on the nem.

I'm not sure if you noticed, but it's a little bit thinner now. I suck an extra thin top layer every time I do a water change, and my last water change I was extra aggressive and sucked more. I also stir it up from time to time to fragment the cyano and brown mats (dinos/diatoms). It's a long term battle keeping it clean, but after consistent weekly maintenance I eventually hit a sweet spot where my sand goes clear and all the algae dies off. That makes me lazy
