Simple skimmer question....

UPDATE: Yesterday, I was looking around the sump and skimmer trying to figure out what the problem was after reading about a coupe remedies on R2R. Turns out, the tubing from my pump into my skimmer had a kink in it. I moved some of it around and BOOM! Now its a foam producing son-of-a-gun! thanks for the help!!
