Six Line Wrasse issue

The nitrites are a little bit concerning. You shouldn't have any in a properly cycled tank. The presence of any is potentially harmful to fish. Or did you get the nitrates and nitrites mixed up?
It is a good possibility that I have those 2 mixed up!

Welcome!!!

I've had similar injuries on my coris wrasse and also my melanurus wrasse (which passed away due to the injury) and I think #crabs_mcjones is right that it is an injury caused by it running into a rock or getting stuck between rocks. This has happened to my coris wrasse twice and he pulled through both times, but my hovens wrasse didn't make it. I would recommend vitamins with it's food and also look out for infection.
We had an injury on our six line Wrasse also. Probably from shooting between rocks. It healed with good feeding. He's fine now.

Hey R2R!!! Thanks to everyone’s help and suggestions with my issue. I am sad to update that he didn’t survive. I’m guessing his injuries were to much to bare and decided to go to fish heaven. Again, thanks everyone for taking time to answer my concerns!!!!
