Sixline wrasse

Interesting, most of the literature says they don't sand sleep. I know mine doesn't but there are some sites that say they might hide in sand when stressed. I see his cocoon sack floating around the tank in the mornings.
I have never seen one sleep in the sand - I have had lots of them as I sell them. I agree with you

Going to try to get another six line, they are my favorite fish :( I loved that little guy. Does anyone know if a sixline and leopard wrasse can be together? This is the wrasse I have now and him and the six line were best buddies :(
Just want to know if they would all workout together the 3 of them.
Depends on lots of things. Space, shelter, size, order of entry and personality - maybe even location of collection
Had a six line in a 40 that I had to tear half way down to remove because no one, not even a dottyback could handle - and now have a melanurus (largest) a leopard (slightly smaller) a six line and a smallest yellow coris in a 180. Nary a confrontation that i have seen, and the six line is the best most active hunter/picker in the tank. Does not even always come off its patrols at feeding.
Sorry for hte non-answer, but it depends
