I have never seen one sleep in the sand - I have had lots of them as I sell them. I agree with youInteresting, most of the literature says they don't sand sleep. I know mine doesn't but there are some sites that say they might hide in sand when stressed. I see his cocoon sack floating around the tank in the mornings.

I loved that little guy. Does anyone know if a sixline and leopard wrasse can be together? This is the wrasse I have now and him and the six line were best buddies
