Skimmer.. What am I missing??

They don't work that way, the airline for your is supposed to be unresticted. The flow valve controls the level in the neck. It will not create skimmate all the time. None do.

What kind of valve does it have? A gate valve or a ball valve? Gate meaning you open the valve and more water bypasses the skimmer and goes back into the tank...

My question/problem is not that I am not getting sate its that when the durn thing is on and everything is open like its supposed to be.. It pushes foam eruptively through the top this effectively ruining/flooding my floor...

It has a gate style valve

But you stated above that you have the gate turned all the way open, and it shouldn't be.

Yes,if the gate is not all the way open and the airflow is unrestricted.. It gives a heavy foam forcefully up out the top.. And the gate is on the outflow, soo it backs up through the neck and into the tube of the cup..

Thats just weird. I know that if you turn off the air, and leave the gate in the same spot, it will overflow, but if the air is then turned on the water level should come down.

Thats just it.. If the air is off and the gate is all the way open.. The water sits in the base of the cup.. No overflow.. Bu lots of noise trough the outflow and tons of gurgling and bubbles in the tank... The more the air is open the more noise and the more microbubbles in the tank as seen in the last picture.. I know.. And thats why I am confused and looking for guidance.. This thing is now over a month old and STILL not lined out.. The company nor the original place of purchase are any help in my situation..

Have you taken the pump apart to see if there is something obstructing the impeller?

Yes,took it apart whole assembly including intake and downspout.. No buildup no blockages.. I just dont understand...

Welp, ya got me. You've gotten through the whole set up. Im at a loss.
Anyone else got anything to add that he has missed?

Raise the body of the skimmer, adjust amount of water flow in, and adjust air. Thats how you find the sweet spot, at least on my skimmer. I had the same issue, bubbles and water shot out of the top until I raised the skimmer body out of the water a little and then fine tuned my water flow in and air.
