So it would be okay to treat again with furan 2 and kanaplex for another ten days?
Yes. I wouldn't put him back in the DT until he looks more "healed".

If I can't get ahold of any metroplex would it be okay to just treat with the kanaplex and furan 2 again? Should I soak the food in it or can I just add it directly to the tank like I've been doing?

Yup, that's fine. Add it directly to the water if using a QT.

I treated for another ten days and it doesn't seem to have gotten any better. I'm not really sure what to do. His behavior is fine and still eats like a champ. It's just weird that he still has that on his face.

The white specks in the picture are actually on the glass btw. Just so no one thinks it's ich.

What is HLLE and how do I treat him?

Head & Lateral Line Erosion "HLLE":

Symptoms - HLLE literally looks as though the skin is rotting or peeling off the fish. Affected areas usually include the face and lateral line, and may be white in color.

Treatment options - This is more of a condition than an actual disease. Since no one can agree on the exact cause, all you can do is address all of the following theories regarding HLLE:

1) Stray voltage - Use a titanium ground probe & test your tank for stray voltage.
2) Running carbon - Don’t use it, or use only premium grade carbon.
3) Nutritional deficiency - Feed high quality nutritional foods. Some have had success reversing the effects of HLLE by soaking food in “fish vitamins” and also feeding nori.

Is chemi pure elite considered premium grade carbon? So does that mean I should just go ahead and put him back into my DT? What kind of vitamins can I soak into the food?

He might not eat until he's healed up. Try live foods or soaking the food in a bit of garlic to get a feeding response.

I've tried live food with cutting pieces, and I tried to soak fish food with vitality, but both doesn't work. I know there's a chance that when it is healed, then it will eat some food. But I'm worried about if it can stay until that time…

This is kind of bumming me out. I just realized today that the skin towards the back of the fish is once again fading out in the same exact area. I don't know what to do. I've already treated him for several weeks with meds. It seems like my only option is let him be in the tank and see if he can overcome whatever it is and hopefully I don't lose him :(

Just realized something about Sailfin Tangs; they change colours and will go from faded to dark brown. It's probably a mood thing. Don't know if that helps or not.

I think I know what you're talking about. I notice that happen a lot when the lights are off. He becomes more white looking but when the lights are on he becomes more brown and yellow. The part that is fading or looks like something is wrong is only in one area of his body. It looks the same still as in the first post. He's been hiding today.

This to me (your pic below) is clearly HLLE, no question about it in my mind:

I actually just saw him come out and this is what he currently looks like. Much worse than the picture above.

@ndz98 What I'm seeing in those pics looks like a lingering bacterial disease to me. However, I know you've already tried treating him with multiple antibiotics. Are you soaking his food with vitamins still? Feeding nori daily? If I were in your shoes, I would be tempted to give one of the "natural remedies" like Melafix and/or Pimafix a shot since the conventional methods have failed here.

Yes he gets good quality food with vitamins. I give home cobalt flakes in the morning, mysis at night, and nori throughout the day.
