Slow / Fast Tissue Necrosis help

Not sure if this is relevant, but sps and rtn went hand in hand for me the first year my tank was up and running. My lps were all thriving so I kind of just stopped searching for a reason and stuck with what worked for my tank. Eventually, after about 3 years I decided to try again just one little frag at a time. Today, they are all doing well. I didn't notice how long your tank has been running, but maybe the maturity of the system can contribute to success. I know over time I haven't changed much but parameters really began to stabilize nicely once I stopped trying to address every possible issue that could be contributing to the rtn. :)

Just hang with LPS and softies for now.
Something is in the water that is upsetting your SPS.
Use a few detox treatments and try again in January.
Christmas is coming and spoil the family with your fun money and leave the tanks as is and only do water changes for now.
And of course feed the fish.
Just remember just cause it ain't working it will never work.

Yup.

One day, for no reason, my tanks just stared growing the acros I'd had for a year or more. True story.

Perhaps ask @Randy Holmes-Farley or @JimWelsh to take a more educated look but to me your salinity looks like it was low in the 1st icp then high in the 2nd - looking like that might be all over the place perhaps.
Plug your numbers into here & see what i says
https://monrecifamoi.saulme.fr/salinite/elements_compute_salinity.php

The first test does show as slightly low - Refractometer at that point read 34.

The second read 35, and the linked site comes out to 34.9673 . I would presume 1 PPT ( SGU) shouldnt be that much of a swing, and is the max I ever see.

Hi,just edited that earlier post as i plugged them in myself too - yeah numbers look odd but the answer comes back ok

Have a read up on tunze care bacter - adding some of that might at least cover the bacterial/pathogen possibilities(vibrio)

tunze care bacter

I agree that this stuff looks amazing, and was looking up info on it the other day. It however doesnt seem to be available in Canada, nor from BRS. Ive seen it on the Marine Depot website , but their shipping is prohibitively expensive ( $50 USD). With very little info on this compared to other bacterial supplements, im not sure if it will be advantageous to try it right now.

They've always been doing this. Initially I thought it was Flow, then Alk instability, then Light. at this point, im almost ready to throw in the towel.
This towel is worth keeping! Once you're past this, you'll appreciate your tank that much more! :)

The pics look like there's probably some issues with the water. A lot of brown stuffs and algae growing nearby with little or no coraline coverage

Tried my first new sticks since October in mid January. Two weeks later and its gone from a beutiful green to this. PAR here is 250 per the PMK.

Nitrate - Between 5-10 ( Salifert)
Phosphate .04 ( Hanna UL)
Alk 8.5Dkh ( KHG and Salifert)
Calcium 480 ( Salifert)
Magnesium 1600 ( Salifert)

Since Oct, I've:

Taken off the Filter socks
Switched form CA Reactor to 3 part AF
Created Cheato fuge
Stopped dosing Vinegar
Stopped dosing LaCL

Through this ive seen sponges and coraline take off like mad, but still no SPS

I also have a bit of Cyano

The acro under the 250. That looks like not enough light. Browning.

Also 250, what’s the color ratios?
Ie, what’s in the 250?
Looks like hydras no?

What’s the peak photo period and how long iverallnis the day?

Also , how high over the tank are those t5?
