Can I get a list of some of the slower growing lps corals? What LPS corals grow slow so they will not cover up too much space and never need fragging assuming other corals are within 8 inches of it?

It depends on the system from lighting to parameters. Some tank grow corals super fast while others don’t .

So how about blastomussa corals and sclolymia I heard they grow slowly?

Most of your favia and platygyra grow rather slow. Not the war coral type favia, but the larger polyped ones like goniastrea and such.

Scolies will grow rather slowly once they reach a certain size. You should never frag it. JMO
So just put it on the bottom and not worry about it growing more than a couple of inches for years?

Mine has grown about an inch or so in about 3 or 4 years. It was already 3" across. Now my baby that is less than an inch is growing faster.

Ok so they will not take up too much space in the long term how about plate corals how fast do they tend to grow?

What lps corals can I place in my nuvo 60 gallon tank and not have to frag for a couple of years(maybe 5 to 10 years) because of slower growth?
Another question: will euphyllia grow on sand? (Frogspawn and hammers)
Corals compadible with sps.
Can plate corals be kept in close proximity?

Why are you concerned about coral growing on sand ?

You have to frag corals eventually
