I'll let them settle in their new tank for a little bit and then try to take some pics... I'm pretty much done with shipping and receiving besides a few deals I need to finish up... I'm gonna watch the tank grow a little bit during the cold months.. hopefully it warms up early next year so the fun can start early...Marvin - are you ready to trade some of them yet? You dont need 18 polyps.......![]()

When I took those pics that colony was about 10" from 2-250watt 14k phoenix bulbs. They were very faded. They are like ppe's or any other purple zoa when they are in lower light the purple gets more intense. Also that pic is directly from my camera without any corrections except changing it from raw to jpeg.Maybe they are altering? I cant really tell by the picture, I will have to take a close look at the colony. But, as you can see with the picture that I posted and the picture that Jabber posted, the color is much different than the Lemon Drops. Its a close pattern on the zoas but the colors on the Purple Hornets are much more intense.
Casey you also sent me a frag of those along with a few other zoas about a year ago. I just checked my PM's. It was on 08-07-2007.pretty sure reefer's came from me and maybe marv's?? Not many frags made it out...
I sell them on eBay as they grow out. But, I only sell one polyp at a time, they grow slow for me.
