Hi all! I am currently setting up a rimless 14g cube. It will be a tank for a wasp fish :) i am planning on getting live rock from gulfliverock and adding some nice soft corals. It will be quite simple. I have an led light and i will be adding a HOB filter aswell. I am most likely going to go with Aquaclear

Several dead crabs - hopefully some survivors. Found a decorator crab with eggs. Unfortunately she was dead

Looking good, that rock on the left looks crazy
Yeah haha its all covered in sponge. Im currently dealing with some dinos but im sure they will dissipate soon as my phosphates and nitrates are quite high. I will just keep manually removing. I am also dosing phytofeast

Got the dinos away- will get snails today to deal with this algae…

Marcus has been acting odd lately. He doesn’t really respond to food… only the bits that flow by. He also sits in a little cave the entire day. This normal?

There’s lots of Cyanobacteria present in the tank that it’s not normal for a tank cycling. Have you been feeding the tank a lot? It could of been because some die off on the LR

just put the snails in- i was feeding pretty heavily in order to reduce dinos. Plenty of dieoffs from rock for sure. I also reduced the flow so there has been build up
