That’s how I treat it. You’re essentially creating a live feed and along with this comes the pros and cons of maintaining a living culture. I’m sure you can refrigerate as well, but potency will decrease over time and I’m not sure how stable all the ingredients are together over an extended duration.

Zeozym is supposed to be an enzyme based product while biomate appears to be a bacterial product. While they may “functionally” sound the same, their purposes and use cases are different.

It works and it works well! Here is 1 months growth of a mariculture acro I got from a friend.. this was a direct import from Bali to Vegas and chopped the day it arrived… 1 month in captivity! It didn’t wait to adjust or sit stagnant it just took off! Colors were dull but coming in nicely now , growth is amazing! It’s normally a pain just to get to them adjust to captive life but with gut loaded bacteria it’s became easier for me anyways.

I keep things as simple (not stable) as possible. No chasing numbers. Just ranges for the big 3 and I don’t even test for no3/po4 anymore. Last time I checked they were 45 and 0.38. My tank is only 50g so I can easily do +50% water changes very quickly…….which I do about every month. I only feed frozen PE mysis and nori and I only dose kz flatworm stop. No coral foods, bacteria concoctions etc. I’m not saying they don’t help but I really just don’t care enough to try them.
Don’t pay any attention to the salt reading. That’s not correct. I need to recalibrate it

We don’t leave doors, or windows open in Houston Tx. That isn’t safe. Can’t even trust pulling outside air into the skimmer. We have to dose kalk if we want higher ph.My salt reading is better!
My salt is really around 1.026 or 35.5. My apex probe has been acting funky
My trusty plastic reads hydrometer reads 1.026. Sorry I should have made it more of a joke lol…. I still use an old coral life plastic hydrometer ro mix my salt.

Have you ever done an ICP? Curious what your iodine is with flatworm stop and nori, also a big fan of large percentage water changes.
