Something is in my Corals Skeleton

I think there may be something else going on here as the entire colony seems to be hunkering down

Barnacle in itself isn't bad, in this case it's growing on the head and irritating the tissue.
Hello thanks to everyone. My hammer is slowly opening more each day.
Also I have an AI Prime and how does blue lights help a coral grow more. Is it nessecary to have the blue lights?
I have included a picture of my current setting on my tank and of my coral slowly opening more.

Looks to be a barnacle possibly. Remove it.
I agree that its a barnacle but better to leave it alone. I had them on my torch corals and removed them. The coral never recovered, and finally died from red algae.
