Setting up my 40 turned me into a nervous wreck. I would sit around thinking, changing my mind a billion times and then thinking some more.
With my 29 it took me less than 36 hours to set it up from the time I got the tank. It literally had everything it needed, including water within a day and a half.
Do you know how long it took me to decide what skimmer to get for my 40? Three weeks! This is no joke either.... I know nothing about who makes a good skimmer. I know the popular ones among hobbyists (this does not necessarily make that equipment high quality).
With this build I wanted to build the best environment that I possibly could, and on an affordable budget. I would literally think about how this setup was going to work for hours every day.
I'm so glad this build is over (for the most part, a couple tweaks left) so that I can sit back and enjoy why I went through all this.
I know there are a bunch of you that enjoy the setup the most, and enjoy tinkering. WHERE WERE YOU WHEN I COULD HAVE USED YOU?!?!
