That's as close to the original as I've seen anywhere. Even if they were not from the original colony from AquaSD they are as close as we will probably ever see. Besides, if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and looks like a duck, then as far as I'm concerned, it's a duck. Nice job to you guys for bringing back a legend. Let's hope they all survive in the tanks of people getting in line for frags. Oh, BTW you might want to check your mail box, it's gonna be full soon

What is this source you keep mentioning? It seems like a missing link for such an expensive "rare" palythoa.

There are 2 collectors that I know of in Las Vegas that has a few colonies of sopranos. We tried getting some from them a few times with no success. They just melt in the tank after a while and survival on shipping is 50/50. Very sensitive palys, but if you can keep them alive, then it's definitely worth it.

I don't mean to come off as a jerk or a nerd...but is this not a clear hype? He claims he purchased them from AquaSD as "sopranos"....why even ask for an ID at that point if you KNOW you purchased "sopranos"...immediately he goes off to selling them after a clear 5-page worth hype and in his selling page, he basically admits to hyping the coral by saying that he purchased from AquaSD...

Just sayin....

While this thread may have been created with all good intentions, it is very much a "hyping" thread and we are going to try and cut back on all these type of threads as much as possible. These type threads drive up the prices of coral.
