I picked up a rainbow bubble tip nem and some clowns for the new tank, along with a bounce shroom and elegance coral- both I thought were priced sharp. Torches are still top billing. There were some really nice meat corals. They had an “animal” show around 2 and my kids got a big kick out of it, which helped because they don’t stare at coral and grill vendors like daddy. Just nice to get out honestly.

I don't have any pictures from the show but, I will get some pics of what I came home with later. Half of them I don't know the names for haha.

Had an awesome experience, everyone there was willing to talk and give info. Nobody pressuring you to buy or put off that you didn't buy after looking. Prices seemed pretty good.

Like you said, not a whole lot in that area, but you may find something that you weren't aware of. I have found that the best source of local shows are the vendors that have booths at local shows because they will likely be looking for other shows as well. Good luck!

This is the only local show. There is a show or two on the other side of the state, one in the middle and a couple in Ohio. I guess it just depends how far you are willing to travel. The LEAR show a lot of the local people make a day trip out of it. You could do quite a few shows within driving distance over a weekend though.

The other kind if bigger thing locally is the annual coral fragging workshop and raffle generally in September where I import a box or two of coral and people bring things. We demonstrate and teach people how to frag the coral and then raffle them all off.

Thanks @JaimeAdams. The expo was a huge success thanks to a lot of work by a lot of people. Our vendors were great and brought a lot of awesome pieces. Already looking forward to next years show. Thanks to everyone who attended and made it a tremendous event.

HUGE thanks to all of the board member at 3RMAS for putting the frag swap on. Tons of quality vendors with incredible pieces! I left there with more wants added to my list than I scratched off. It was a busy place and a lot of deals getting done and I was able to make a few of my own!
