Does anyone know how to raise specific gravity up. I just check my in few day and noticed it pretty low for my coral (1.021-1.022). I would raise it up to 1.025. I try to do water change with sg 1.026 but my DT sg still stay at 1.022. What should i do to raise it. ??

Hello, I would say let your water evaporate a bit. Remember, salt stays in while water evaporates, naturally raising your salinity. Hope this helps!
I left there 3 days and even do water change but seem like nothing change

I don't know how big your sump is, but I would overfill my sump with salt water and let the fresh water evaporate off...leaving higher Salinity. This way it is nice and slow.
I have 1.5 HOB refugium. Should i overfill it by salt water ?

I’m no expert here because bubba, but remember too that salinity fluctuates naturally even in the wild. Here’s a guide for you to reference.

What are you using to check it? Refractometer? Do you calibrate it often? What do you use to calibrate it?

I use refractometer for measure it. My cousin use it with me and has no problem, i beleive it should work well

am actually doing it right now as bought a bunch of things at CMAS and my grav went to 023 accounta all the acamating and all my top off water went into the DT as was doing them..
when i get back up to 026 i'll change it back to RODI

good luck :)
i have a 130 and if i mix my 5gal ato the 5gals will raise it about 1 point..
so from 023 to 024

I also mix kalwasser in my ATO. If I mix salt water. Should I still use the same amount of kalwasser or less than that?

i would guess same..
tho not sure as i don't use kalk...
prob not as the salt will have cal in it
i would leave kalk out and watch cal while raiseing you gav
Thanks for your help. I would that

I heard someone mix salt with the small amount of water and dirextly dump into DT. Is that a good idea

uuummmm i don't think id make a slurry and dump it in......
if salts not full desolved and gets on corals would be a prob..
that and not wanting to raise it fast

You cannot mix them.
