I agree 100%. They are also an overlooked organism that help filter the water as well.

Beautiful specimen. Sponges are excellent filter feeders and their growth is a sign of a healthy reef.

I just added this live rock, and I notice this weird yellow sponge like creature with two tubes. Any idea what it is?

Sponges grow crazy in tank I have the yellow one and the white one that grows straight up and can find the blue ones here and there.
